• 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab 2wd 4.7L, I got it in 2005, it had 43,000 miles on it and was $11,000 came from a trade in at Liberty Buick in Sun City AZ, got made into the frankenkota. Never sell your first vehicle and I never will, bury me in this thing.
  • 1998 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2wd, a Free hand me down from my mama, got it with 173k and drove it till 250k when the tranny popped, a buddy bought it and put another 30k on it with a junkyard tranny and lived a good life with my buddy going to Mexico, KOH and stuff.
  • 1960 F100 4×4, Bought this beauty for $3k when the economy was bad, 2011 from a kid. His father died and it was his baby, a half finished project with no steering and half the parts missing. Make my own period correct steering, removed all sketchy stuff and body lift put in a 312 Y block, it had a dump truck clark 5 speed and 64 F250 running gear with a divorced Dana24. I built it for my GF but she ran away to “see new people” so I sold it for $4800k to pay for the Unimog. Big mistake, the hipster that bought it ripped the drivetrain out and flipped it for 10K, I regret that one, has been traded around a few times. This truck was a sad curse.
  • 1966 Mercedes Benz Unimog my “dream truck”, bought it off eBay From Thilo Kass in 2010 for $3,200, had no title and was stuck in the mud, unknown condition, did not run. Rebuilt most of the machine and taught me how to wrench on one of the most complicated vehicles that ever existed, learned how to title a vehicle one of my best runners of all time. Love this one, cant get rid of it, had it before I could drink, lived it in for a year and a half at Local Motors, got me through the end of college and beginning of my time as an engineer.
  • 1989 Subaru XT, an awesome Daily Driver I got for $1000 from a small dealership in Mesa in 2011, probably one of the coolest cars I ever owned with a stealth fighter cockpit, pre-tesla areo doorhandles, factory moonroof and flip up headlamps. I put very little cash into it and it helped me get through college. Sold it for $1250 to some guy in Colorado, he wanted it to use it as a winter beater… poor car, he drove it there and it made it.
  • 1989 F150 2wd 5 speed 4.9L $1000 2012, I restored this truck and traded it for a jeep forward control, I hated the TFI igintion system, Ford messed up with that crap.
  • 1954 Jeep FC150, traded it with $1500 cash on top for my f150, but I got it at night and it was so far gone/rusted out I had to get rid of it, I think I got 3500, it was a good runner. Went to a guy who collected large, forward control trucks, his SO wanted it, glad it ended up there.
  • 1989 F250 4×4 IDI 7.3L ZF5 extended cab flatbed, I paid $600 for this pile in 2013, it had a dissembled engine, but I was able to get parts to complete it at the yard, drove the piss outta that truck, rand it off of a waste motor oil, centrifuge oil system I designed. I sold it to a friend for too cheap and he gave away the system to a buddy… should have never solid it.  I helped him sell it buy fixing it up more and split the profits with some cash on top. I regret selling it every day.
  • 2013 Nissan Leaf, only “new” car I will ever own, leased this thing big mistake ever stepping into a stealership. Dealerships in America are legal scams, but it saved me a lotta gas, when gas weas expensive and helped me to devlop EVSE’s and learn about vehicle archetecture/canbus. I was also the first person I knew with an electric vehicle and proud to be an early EV adopter, returned it 2015. I drove it Hard, maybe a little too hard, hehe.
  • 1964 C60 wrecker “homewrecker”, 6BTA swap, schoobus axle swap, Allison swap, a 2103 buy. I love this truck and it will die with me, turned down a couple Canadians that tried to buy it for 10K in 2014.
  • 1977 F150 2wd 4 speed 300 inline six. I bought this pile for $1200 in 2013, fixed it up, have it power steering, my girlfriend drove it for a couple years and I solid it for a friend for $1250 in 2015, he still uses it in 2019, happy it went to someone that liked it (very few work out like that).
  • 2004 Silverado 2500 Duramax, I originally bought this truck for Local Motors in 2014, it had 40,000 on it when we got it, always been a strong runner, I bought it from the company at 240K for $1500, well abused by employees it died it Detroit because “all 8 injectors failed” complete BS, fuel gelled up, new filter and she was running again, has 280K on it now as of 2020. This truck and I helped build three startup companies together, Local Motors, Thor Trucks, and Nikola Motor, we have both been through the startup ringer, driven by many people, are underpaid, overused and well worked but have seen and built it all. I lived in it at the planet fitness in Burbank for four months when fixing my Dragon Wagon in Redlands.
  • 1990 “Dragon Wagon”, 6×6, Cummins 6BTA.  I bought this thing as a major project in 2016, completed the build in three months and quit my 7 year tenure at Local Motors driving off in it to start a new life in the Bay Area. It ended up not making it, loosing its Rockwell T-1138 transfercase in Palm Springs, I ended up getting it put into storage and lived inside a trailer, behind someones house in the bay area, I had to quit my job at Gillig to fix it and got my job at Thor trucks because of it. I lived in it for a year in North Hollywood Ca when I worked at Thor, probably the most interesting part of my life ever, I will write a book about my experience.
  • 2013 Salvage Nissan leaf, bought in 2016 for parts for $4k, use it as a festival car, make me an offer, still for sale!
  • 1979 F250 4×4, 4 speed NP205, built 460CI, got this in 2016, paid $2000 for it, owner put the distributor in backwards, I then blew the valvecovers off of it trying to start it, fixed it and drove it for a bit, shipped it to NC where a kid bought it for $4900 and promptly totaled it, really sad how it turned out.
  • 1989 Unimog FLU 419 in 2017, most fun  and useful Unimog ever! bought it because I wanted to buy some property locally, fixed it up good and she is for sale! Land is wayyy to expensive in the Phoenix area in 2020 *bubble* cough.
  • 1966 F100 2wd C4, Bought it in 2018 for $1k from a neighbor, had a dropped valve, rebuilt the 351W, brakes, suspension, steering and paintjob.  was a performance motor with a cam, intake, roller lifters, super fast. Went to a kid and his GF for $3800, haven’t seen it for sale but no news is good news, I think they really enjoy it, happy how it turned out and that the new owners enjoy it.
  • 1978 Toyota Dolphin 20R, I bought this as soon as I landed in Iowa in 2018, blew the fuel pump on a backroad, wound up fixing it on the spot and over a week in Amish-land (Lamoni, Iowa), we returned the rental car, did not check into out flights and stayed extra! The Amish loved it. I drove it cross country back to Phoenix on an epic roadtrip, through the highest hills in Colorado and it did perfect!  It was super minty with less than 40K miles, a near perfect, all original body and interior, sold it for a good deal to a kid that lives in an apartment complex in Tucson, probably all sun-rotted now. The wording of my listing has been plagiarized in many Toyota dolphin ads across the country, the kid that bought it financed it and tried to instantly flip it, with my old photos and wording for a crazy amount for the past year… I regret selling but ran out of room, had a great time with it.
  • 1978 Toyota Sunraider in 2018. Bought it for $1k fixed the title issuie and flipped it for $2k, guy that flipped it from me sold it for $4k haha Was too much project for me at the time.
  • 1968 VW Manx, 1600 DP, Paid $1800 for this death trap in 2019, awesome vehicle, had to rebuild… everything, most fun vehicle I have owned, big plans for it. I love and hate aircooled vw’s.
  • 1959 F100 4×4 351M C6 on 82 bronco frame. I bought this in 2019 and fully restored it in 6 months, its a good driver, great truck, everything I wanted my 1960 to be, my SO wont let me get rid of it.
  • 1998 Honda Civic GX, a little awesome CNG powered vehicle, since Phoenix is growing like it did 10 years ago …. there is lots of traffic… like 10 years ago, nice to drive in the carpool lane for cheap and keep mileage off the fleet.
  • 1992 Dodge D250 12 valve 2wd auto. I got this on a whim in 2019, good runner no clue on what I am doing with it yet, yall know me.
